2010 Jones Beach Memorial Day Air Show

The United States Navy's Blue Angels will be headlining the 2010 Jones Beach Memorial Day Air Show, and as always are ready to wow the crowd. The Jones Beach Memorial Day Air Show is always a guaranteed day of excitement and fun!

The Blue Angels are always a crowd pleaser, whether it be their diamond loop, watching them climb the sky at a perfect 90 degree angle or witnessing a sonic boom as they soar past faster than the speed of light. You get an inside look on what tricks of the trade our Navy uses to help defend our country.

Along with the Blue Angels, some of the best civilian and military aerobatic performers take to the sky for this exciting event. Other highlights of the show include the New York Air National Guard Search & Rescue, who drop out of their plane right into the ocean. Or the Red Bull Race Pilots who parachute right onto the beach in the middle of 200 thousand people.

Along the boardwalk there are also about 50 different food vendors to make sure you don't go hungry, and about 30 different souvenir shops to make sure you don't forget what a great time you had. There's also many fighter planes that are no longer in use on display for exhibiting throughout the day.

The demonstrations begin at 10 am, and go until 3 pm, without a drop of energy. What could be more exciting on a nice summer day, than seeing the men and women who serve our country have a little fun at our expense?
